Grappone Toyota is located in Bow, NH – just south of Concord and only 20 minutes from Manchester.
Grappone Team Member, Nancy Cote, volunteered for CASA of NH on Friday, November 8th working on their semi-annual fundraising campaign’s 4,000 piece mailer. She sent out handwritten notes to thank past contributors and volunteers. She also prepared greeting cards to benefit CASA and packed jewelry for transfer to the local church for their upcoming fundraiser.
Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of New Hampshire recruits, trains and supervises volunteers to serve as advocates for abused and neglected children in the New Hampshire court system. As a private nonprofit, they rely on a diverse revenue base. Thirty to forty percent of their operating budget is from state and federal funding, with the balance from individual and corporate contributions, private grants and revenue from CASA fundraising efforts.
Nancy was pleased to present CASA with a $250 donation from Grappone in the Community. She said, “What a great group of people doing an amazing job for the children in the court system in the State of NH. There were 2 employees there who took delivery of vehicles from Grappone Toyota and they couldn’t be happier. One employee, Marty, was actually the woman responsible for bringing CASA to the state. She loves the Toyota facility, her RAV4, and us (not necessarily in that order)! I can’t wait to go back. I will be volunteering on my own in the future. Thanks for the great experience! “
You can also help Nancy support CASA of NH by voting for Lisa Hall of Bedford, NH who has served over the past 10 years as a court appointed special advocate for CASA. For the third-consecutive year, the Betty Jane France Humanitarian Award is given annually to one dedicated NASCAR fan that has made a profound impact on children in his or her local community. CASA of New Hampshire was pleased to nominate Lisa Hall — a sincere NASCAR fan and dedicated volunteer. Her story of service to New Hampshire Children for over a decade has led her to the finals as she represents CASA for children nationwide. If Lisa receives the most votes from now until December 5, 2013, she will receive the Betty Jane Humanitarian Award and a $100,000 donation from the NASCAR Foundation to her children’s charity of choice. Together we can make a difference in our community.
Thanks for volunteering Nancy!
On November 20th the Culture-Con takes place in Manchester.
4th generation owner, Amanda Grappone Osmer, and the Director of Corporate Potential, Mark Brown, have been invited to speak at this event.
“I’m honored to have been asked!” said Amanda.
What could your company do to improve your work environment?
On Saturday, November 16 from 9 am to 3 pm we will be hosting an Electric Hybrid Vehicle Event!
This event will include guest speakers from the State Department of Environmental Services as well as a Ford Motor Company representative. They will be onsite to educate you about Hybrids and Electric vehicles as well as answer any questions you may have.
If you don’t drive a hybrid/electric car come to this event to find out why you should!
We will be raffling off a bike, kayak and a full recon for your vehicle. Food will be served and Johnson’s Golden Harvest will be set up selling locally grown produce as well as locally made food.
Today we were informed that we are receiving Volunteer New Hampshire’s 2013 Spirit of New Hampshire award, along with Hypertherm. Both Grappone and Hypertherm are members of NH Businesses for Social Responsibility.
The award ceremony is on November 14 at the Capital Center for the Arts.
We are excited and honored to receive such an award! This award celebrates volunteerism at its best!
What charities/causes have you volunteered for lately?
Happy Halloween! We hope you are all having a great time dressing up and trick-or-treating.
We spent our day at Grappone in costumes. Who ever said you are too old to dress up?
We also invited Team Members’ children to come visit their parents and trick-or-treat at all of the Grappone dealerships!
Family + Candy = A Great Holiday.
How did you spend Halloween?
The Honda Crosstour is a vehicle that can suit all of your needs.
Whether you live an adventurous life, have a family, or just like to drive -the Crosstour has something for you. The Crosstour is as versatile as you are.
With Honda Lane Watch whenever you hit your right blinker you activate a camera that shows you your blind spot on the right side of the vehicle, you also have a back up camera.
Your trunk is ready for anything. There is a water-resistant utility box beneath the cargo-area floor. This box provides a convenient place to store wet towels or bathing suits, or items needed for New England winters such as tire chains and gloves.
Dacre from Grappone Honda discusses the great Crosstour features:
Here is a guest’s first hand experience about our upfront prices and negotiation free buying process:
Our salesman, George, was fantastic. He was so easy to work with and completely non-pressure. The no haggle deal was refreshing and I have never been to a car dealership and had the kind of experience that we had at Grappone Toyota. WOW!!!!!
Feedback on your Negotiation experience
Non Negotiation should be a standard for the industry and other dealers should be taking notes. We left another dealer earlier in the week after the second round of ‘Let me talk to my manager.’
Feedback on your Final Paperwork experience
This is how buying a car should be. I still can’t believe that we wrapped up the deal and drove the RAV4 home that night! We truly intended to just browse and get info. And we kept these poor guys late and would have ahppily come back the next day to finish the deal. But they had no problem staying. Amazing!
Feedback on your Vehicle Delivery experience
Sign and drive. Couldn’t get any easier. I’ll happily send people to Grappone Toyota.
Feedback on the Dealership Facilities
I had read abut the new building in the local paper and how it was a LEED building. The facility is beautiful and environmentally responsible. Again, other dealerships had better be taking notes.
One thing dealer should continue to keep you a loyal customer
Don’t change a thing. This new program is awesome!
Last weekend was the Concord Boys & Girls Club’s Granite State 10 Miler Race.
This was the 3rd year for the race and Grappone is proud to have sponsored all 3 years of this great fundraiser.
The Boys and Girls Club raised over $10,000! Thank you to everyone who participated and volunteered.
The turn out was wonderful and this has become a popular race in New Hampshire.
We had a few Grappone Team Members participate in this race, including:
- Amanda Grappone Osmer (4th generation owner)
- Mike Ferris (Toyota Senior Team Leader)
- Bob McCullen (Ford Senior Team Leader)
- Rachel Moseley (Accounting Support)
- Sean Snow (Toyota Service Advisor)
