Grappone supports the Moose Plate Program because we know how much it has helped our state. Because of the Moose Plate scenic landscapes, historic sites and artifacts, plants and wildlife have been helped and preserved. For residents, supporting the state’s valuable conservation and cultural heritage is as easy as buying a NH Conservation License Plate (Moose Plate) for your car.

The Barley House Burgerfest starts June 14th and goes until June 22nd and donates money to CHAD and Fred’s Fund. Each burger is sponsored by a local patron, and for every one of those burgers sold during the event, the sponsor donates $1 or $2 dollars to Fred’s Fund and CHaD.  In addition, New Hampshire Distributors designate certain beverages on the Barley House menu and donates $1 for every one sold.  Check out The Classic Patty Melt, which is the Grappone sponsored burger!

Uno’s Dough Raiser is on June 17th. When you order food that day make sure to mention The Prouty Dough Raiser and 20% of your bill will be donated to The Prouty Cancer Fund.

Josh, from Grappone Ford, takes you through the steps to connect your phone’s audio to your car using Bluetooth. Now you can stream music from your phone to your car’s speakers without using wires.

Anyway, we got to talking and it turns out he used to manage our Honda store many years ago.  He told me a great story about my grandfather once making off with a beat up old Subaru we’d taken in trade (it was worth $50 and was on its way to the boneyard).  Peter couldn’t find it for more than a week.  One day he saw it heading down the road with the 1A dealer plate (it was always a particular point of pride for my grandfather that he was issued the first dealer plate by the state of NH!)  When he caught up to John Grappone he said, “John I’ve been looking for that car for a week!”  My grandfather told him – using a couple of colorful phrases I imagine – that there was no way we were sending a car with a full tank of gas to the junkyard.  He returned it to Honda when the tank was on E.

What happened to good old fashioned Yankee frugality??
